2021 Pumpkin Run- Shirt Design Contest

Welcome to the 2021 shirt design contest. We are so excited to see all of the submissions for this year.

The winner of this contest will have their design concept featured on the 2021 Pumpkin Run T-Shirts and be recognized in the Nebraska Sports Council newsletter publication, on social media, and will receive prizes listed below.

Rules & Guidelines

Designs may be hand drawn concepts that will be converted digitally, OR digitally designed originals
Designs must include the words “Pumpkin Run”
Designs should NOT be Halloween themed
Designs SHOULD be themed for the fall season, running, pumpkins or all of the above
Designs must be for the front of the shirt only
Designs can contain up to 3-4 colors
DIGITAL DESIGNS: Must be in high resolution and be submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, or .psd file
Be aware that any hand-drawn art will be digitally enhanced for shirt production

ELIGIBILITY

Contestants must be 14 years old or younger
There is no entry fee to submit a design
Only one design submission per contestant

WHAT TO KNOW

Designs will be judged on the following criteria:

Originality
Visibility – Is it eye catching and visible from a distance?
Feasibility – Must be easy to reproduce

In addition to your artwork, please include a file with your first and last name, email address, phone number, and a description of your inspiration. Please include your name in your files (ex. LastName_FirstName.jpg). Please upload your design submission below through the

All submissions are due Sunday, August 29th, 2021 by 8 p.m.
There will be no late submission acceptances. Failure to comply to all rules and guidelines or failure to meet our eligibility standards will result in a voided submission.

*By submitting an entry, the artist consents that it is his/her own original work and that he/she has all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. The t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning artist grants to the The Nebraska Sports Council the exclusive rights to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other Nebraska Sports Council materials. The artist shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Nebraska Sports Council from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection with the Nebraska Sports Council’s use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design. No submissions will be returned.
